Unsolved, Unexplained

I found myself researching about unexplained and unsolved mysteries in the world.

Top 10 Unexplained Mysteries

Since a child,
I love to spend hours reading up about mysthical places like the Black Hole, The Bermuda Triangle, The great pyramid and legendary creatures like Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster.

I chanced upon a name for the first time in my life while reading about Bigfoot- The Yeti of the Himalayas, even though this creature has been rumored around for years

The Yeti is a half ape, half human creature which lives high up in the Himalayas.
Face-to-face encounters with a Yeti has never happened before. However a handful of fortunate people did manage to film blurry & distant yeti videos & took photographs of them.

The video below is perhaps the very first video footage of a Yeti known as "The snow Walker".

This other one freaked the hell out of me- The Belmez Faces

The story of how a face mystically appeared on a woman's cemented kitchen floor. Yes, i said I-N, not O-N. A week after the cement was removed and re-laid, the face appeared again. Simultaneously, more faces began to appear and disappear, sometimes in the eyes of curious visitors who came to see this phenomena. Even as I am typing and reading about this, it is giving me the goosebumps!

I spent up to 4am yesterday reading about these amazing facts,
always have been!

Respect

I do not honor people who dare to dream.
I honor those who dare to dream,
execute this dream,
and expand it as time goes by.

Respect.

Reserved Seating

whenever someone elderly walk into the MRT train,
Most eyes will turn to any youngster sitting on the 'reserved seating' seats on both ends of the seat.
The reserved seat has somehow become some skeptical n inauspicious seat because u have to give it up any time.

Perhaps,
We should consider pasting the 'reserved seating' sign on ALL mrt seats.
In that way, we might have lesser people looking, and more people giving up their seats.

Read The News

I will read the newspaper,
Yet forget the very content written once I turn the page...
Until someone bring it up again,
It'll gradually be erased from the memory.

So as not to forget the things we do,
DD and I have created a blog together.
Instead of writing all the mushy stuff which couples usually will, we've decided to share places n things we do together instead, sharing with others how we build up our r/s.

It serves as a reminder purpose-
Not only for others but also for the both of us:
It takes engagement and communication to bond two people closer together,
and it's not just about the beginning stage.

Home Alone

Bubble is so addictive,
I have to stay at home to see to him,
and play with him,
and feed him on the dot,
and keep him company.

He can jump, watch me,
keep quiet & know who is mummy now,

AWWWAWAWWWWW....

Bubble is mine darling.

The Big walk

How early should you wake up on a Sunday Morning?
I woke up at 5am to participate in The New Paper Big Walk 2010!

A large crowd, check.
20,000 walkers, check.
queueing up, check.

Expect the check list mentioned above?
You bet!
However, it's not as bad as you think.

Except for the toilet queues everywhere,
be sure that you won't get pushed around whatsoever.
to be exact,
I've never seen Singaporeans so well-mannered before!

The goodie bad is more for value for the price of $10 per person.

You get a visor, an apple, a bottle of water,
cookies, 2x 50ml anlene milk, a chewy bar,
a pen, a free Singapore Flyer ticket for 1 person,
NTUC frisbee, Sunday Newpaper, some vouchers from Nikon
etc etc etc!

We spotted a dragon boat under the bridge and tried waving at them.

I wonder if they'd seen my mum and I at the top of the bridge.
Who cares anyway.
I just wanted to share my joy with everyone I see that day.

Some interesting people I met while on the walk:
A granny with super cool black & violet Nike shoes
(DD didn't manage to include them in the picture),
and a boy in his superhero ironman suit!

Frankly,
he doesn't look very happy in there.
Mom commented that he looked like a very sad Ironman from afar.
I told her that when I peeped through his mask,
he was sulking.

Yet,
he's being nice to pose a shot for me.
hehe.

Here's another interesting sight.
Audrey and i caught sight of a man whose sandals were broken.

POOR FELLA had to walk barefooted.
I remembered the last time my shoe broke,
I had to take the MRT barefooted with passengers staring at my feet.
Fortunately for him,
the weather was windy and chill.

Mum, DD and I at the 500m mark.

How would you know you've completed the walk?
Yes,
the BIG welcoming 'thank you' banner and most of all,
the Water Station!

I did it!
My very first Big Walk,
with a carnival right at the end waiting for me.

I was tempted into playing the games at the milo station in order to exchange for a 'I Love Milo' badge!

Dd and my first train ride together!
I love my life!!!

Bubble, The Toy Poodle

He's fantastically adorable!

Only that his poo poo smells most awful for now due to the food product he's consuming.

Toy Bubble

I have a new male Toy poodle!

The pet shop owner told me to ignore it for a week at home,
even if it whines and bark- to seek our attention.
Nevertheless this fluffy little thing is too adorable to be ignored!

With 2 hamsters and a puppy that I've always wanted;
I am more contented than anyone else.

Bubble,
Welcome to the family!

Hunting.

I am hunting,
but for song lyrics.

Ask me how serious I am in love with music,
and I will tell you,
I love music as much as its unlimited boundaries.

This coming Tuesday,
there's this plan to have a live jamming session with Desmond at this pub-
All About Eve, which is along Arab Street.

I am still skeptical as to whether I should ask friends down to support me.
This is going to be my very first official on-stage performance.
It shows how self-conscious I am,
not to disappoint anyone nor to embarrass myself in front of them.

Nave repeatedly advised that I ought to exceed my limits,
be unpredictable, be confident,
give out more emotions and bring more feel to the songs i sing.

I know;
But how?

Practice makes perfect.
I must never give up!

Mechanism

It's on 30% discount before I decided to buy it;
This new baby here doesn't need batteries.
All you have to do is to wear it more often,
and it'll tell you an accurate time.

Although I'll very much love a Rolex,
this is equivalently wonderful!

Thank you DD, for this precious gift.

I'll safe-keep my watch,
as well as all your love that is packaged together.

Dollar Little

What happens when you cross a Singapore Two Dollar note
with an iron?

You get a shrank two dollar note!

My question is,
can u still use it?!

My Day

Having the right weather at the right place,
with the right group of friends who hits off with the right conversations;
The perfect day for me even if it is only for 4hours.

I wish I can sit there all day,
and that the sun doesn't set this early at 6pm.

Eddie's new porshe makes my hair really messy!

The best shot I caught today:
A peahen with its chick crossing the road at Sentosa.

(I think the peacock must be somewhere nearby flirting with another peahen)

MEN.
argh.
