Singapore Blog Awards 2011- Social Media is the new 'IN'

Organised by omy.sg, a bilingual news and interactive web portal by leading media group Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH ), Singapore Blog Awards 2010 was the very first blog event I attended. I vividly remembered that I was there with William as a supporter. That was when I met Yongwei & Hpility and many other bloggers for the first time. Since then, I made many fun-loving friends & we will attend events together.

Until then, I hadn't any idea about the local blogosphere, how these extraordinary bloggers go for events and more. My life became even more fulfilling & more exclusive. There were always new things to try FIRST, new places to go FIRST, new friends to meet FIRST.

One year has past.
Singapore Blog Awards 2011 is back!

Into its 4th year this year, the Singapore Blog Awards honour bloggers who actively shares information & reviews on their blogs. There are a total of 16 blog awards to be won! Plus, you can vote for your favourites! :)

It's a blessing. Selected out of over 1000 registered bloggers, my blog was chosen to be one of the Top 10 finalists in 2 of these categories:




The Best Social Media Integrated Blog Award is awarded to the blog who best utilizes social media elements to provide blog content to readers. Do you happen to know that I have more than just a blog?

Sharing information & news with friends are so much easier via Social Media. It requires the least amount of time to get your message across. Videos, photographs, how you feel & even where you are now.

The eventual winner will be chosen via 70% judging and 30% voting. The voting and judging period is from now till 3 July. There will be a presentation ceremony in July at Shanghai Dolly - more details will be provided closer to the date. Voting is FREE and can be done online via a one vote per user per day basis.
