7000 FANS
4 MANDO-POP ROCK STARS
1 GUINNESS
Guinness hosted its first Arthur’s Day celebrations in Singapore with the inaugural Guinness Arthur’s Day™ Concert held at The MAX Pavilion, Singapore EXPO. Led by some of the region’s biggest Mando-pop stars, the music event was organised to celebrate the legacy of GUINNESS founder Arthur Guinness and the much loved GUINNESS brand.
During their performances, the artists also led fans into signature toasts “To Arthur”.
Singapore joined over 55 countries to celebrate what has been the largest global Arthur’s Day™ celebration ever. This is the fourth year that Arthur’s Day has been celebrated globally.
Where can you enjoy alcohol + music at the same time?
HERE AT GUINNESS LIVE CONCERT!
Bonus of the day: Met dearest Crystal at the VIP lounge.
Still CHIO but lost so much weight when she is already so slim.
PLEASE DON'T LOSE ANYMORE WEIGHT dearest!
My first sip of Guinness of the day.
Wohooo~
Notice everyone who attended the concert is dressed in black?
Left to right: me, Colin, HP, William & Kaviel
The adrenaline rush for the next 4 hours was indescribable. I wished the concert would never end. The whole time I was screaming my lungs out just like everybody else. *IMAGE GONE*
In fact, I think I'm more busy screaming than doing anything else. The atmosphere was just TOO HIGH!
The first rockstar to perform was Shin.
He got the crowd screaming madly with his One Night In Beijing & 火烧的寂寞.
However, I highly suspect that he's not feeling well because after finishing his 4th song, he looked exhuasted and distracted.
Then again, he sang ALL his most difficult songs. With all that screaming & shouting, who wouldn't?
SHIN SMILES INTO MY CAMERA.
*Melts*
Shin invited 2 special guests, his Juniors Xiaoyu & Alin, to perform as well. It's very generous as a senior to share his platform with his juniors. Some musicians like to have the mic and limelight all to themselves. I beg to differ. I prefer to invite special guests up on stage to perform and showcase themselves if they happen to be where I was performing.
Music only works when you share.
Here's are the songs Xiao Yu & Alin performed that day:

Shin's performance ended with a toast to Arthur and he gulped his Guinness down in ONE breath!
Everyone was screaming madly and cheering for him.
Ding dang was up next and she was on TOP FORM!
She kicked started her 1-hour set with 我是一只小小鸟.
What you hear in this video is exactly what I heard at the LIVE concert:
She sang mostly emo songs like 我爱他 and did emo song covers -- 洋葱.
I was awed by her hyper songs too-- 自由(cover), 踹來共.
Her last song, 踹來共. was madness!
She did her most epic Dolphin pitch and it's the FIRST TIME I heard anything like that, LIVE!
I went "WOOSH, WHAT WAS THAT?!"
Kudos to Ding Dang, the BEST performer in the house that day.
Ding Dang finished her Guinness in one gulp too! BRAVO~!

It's really difficult to take shots of Gary Cao. He keeps moving, jumping around; hyper-active.
Nevertheless I like his stage presence, hyping the crowd to a whole new level.
When he decided to come down to the stage to give everyone a handshake, I was being squeezed like tuna in the Standing pen. So everyone wants to get a handshake from Cao Ge, what about me?!
Tried to take a shot of Cao ge shaking hands with the fans but #FAIL.
Cao Ge, Y U NO FINISH YOUR GUINNESS?

The final hour showcased PAUL WONG the legend!
I was inspired over and over again by his music.
Every song arrangement has a different tempo, beat, style & groove.
His music is so addictive and influential that it makes you wanna nod your head along with the beats and put your hands high up in the air and sing along with him. What an experience!
People were standing on the seats, screaming, nodding their heads as if they were going to drop off anytime, almost-crying. MADNESS~
Jimmy, his beloved bassist.
When he played his guitar and fingered it all the way to the LAST FRET,
PEOPLE, I'm talking about him fingering his guitar to the VERY. LAST. FRET.
The crowd went bonkas!
I went bonkas~
How I wish I have the chance to play in his band.
Just let me sing ONE SENTENCE.
Good enough.
Paul's music is ALIVE.
Legend For Life.
