Years back, I'd freeze in front of the camera when taking pictures. My hands felt awkward and they are always in the wrong places when the photos are developed. On worse days, I get sweaty palms. Heh-heh. I don't pose very well now either but at least I feel more confident posing in front of the camera with basic knowledge of  'dos & don'ts'.

A Swedish massage is when the massage therapist uses five different types of massage strokes to massage your body. Those five types of massage strokes are effleurage, petrissage, tapotement, friction, and vibration/shaking. All of those massage strokes are used in conjunction with massage oils and a firm pressure to relieve all your tension.

What are the benefits of Swedish massage? 

Each of the different strokes used in a Swedish massage has its own benefit. Some of the benefits of a Swedish massage is increased blood flow, scar tissue breakdown, muscle stretching, adhesions break up, increased venous and lymphatic flow. Swedish massage should be relaxing but some deep pressure is required to achieve this benefit of Swedish massages.

After my massage, I did my very FIRST facial.

I've always heard from people saying that facials are very painful as they clean your pores & squeeze your pimples. I never wanted to try any until I was convinced by my sister to go for one.

My skin condition was first accessed and I was told that I have acne scars on my cheeks.

After cleansing, I did the diamond peel treatment. It's felt like a mini vacuum cleaner, sucking on your skin. PAINLESS.

The Signature Air-brush Skin Treatment is also known as Diamond peel treatment. It is a non-surgical procedure in which the skin is exfoliated to remove dead skin cells using actual diamond chips to vacuum the skin away. In order to do this, the top layer of skin is removed in order to rejuvenate the skin. The epidermal cell structure is actually restored, increasing the skin's elasticity and collagen levels.

How it is being done:

During a Diamond Peel, a skilled professional gently runs a hand-held device with a diamond tipped wand over the skin. A steady layer of diamond dust is applied to the skin and then vacuumed away, exfoliating away dead skin cells and removing fine lines and wrinkles. Wand tips of varying sizes are used to get into the tighter areas, such as around the eyes, nose, and mouth. Wands of different coarseness are also used on spots of the face where the skin is more sensitive. Each treatment should take about 20 minutes, but may take longer depending on the special needs of your skin. For instance, if you are getting treatment for deep stretch marks or another specific skin condition, the procedure will take longer because they require more thorough, focused work.

Immediately following treatment, your skin will look slightly pink and rosy, but should not be irritated or red. Even after the first treatment, you will see visible results. Age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles, and stretch marks will be less noticeable, or may disappear completely. The results of each treatment will not be lost, but instead will gradually improve with each treatment you have. For long-term results, you will need to schedule regular maintenance appointments to ensure that the effects of your peel are not lost.

Diamond peel is an effective, safe and precise treatment that will produce the results you want without requiring any surgical procedures. Diamond peels are not irritating or uncomfortable, and are in fact, considered painless. One of the biggest advantages of a diamond peel treatment is that there is no unsightly redness or peeling following the procedure, so you can go back to your day-to-day activities immediately following treatment.

A diamond peel facial is an effective treatment with many benefits. This treatment can smooth out the texture of the skin. It can brighten up dull looking skin. The treatment can clean out the pores, reduce blemishes and reduce pore size. It can increase the regeneration and reproduction rate of your skin cells. It can also minimize the appearance of wrinkles and age lines.

The process is simple. Your skin is cleansed well. Then a diamond abrasive hand piece is combined with suction is moved over the skin in a crossing motion removing the dead skin cells and other impurities. After the impurities and dead skin has been removed, an Aloe Vera mask is applied to the skin to help the skin recover moisture and nutrients for the new skin cells. This mask also helps to reduce irritation and increase the skin elasticity leaving it feeling flawless, supple and smooth.

After the treatment you should avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. If you have to be in the sun, you should apply a lotion of SPF 30 or more. You should avoid exfoliation treatments three days before and a full week after the diamond peel facial.
