All About Eve Japan Fund Raising Campaign- A Success!
On 16th April 2011, 7 local bands performed at All About Eve bar to help raised funds in attempt to help Japan.
That's us still rehearsing at the smoking corner less than 1hr away from the start of the performance.
There were students from a local Music School,
Here are their singing teachers who performs at All About Eve Bar every Thursday night at 10pm.
Some were jamming buddies,
G.L.O.W, who performs at All About Eve Bar every Wednesday at 10pm.
while others were simply KTV kakis who love music and kena 'tikan' to sing on stage for us.
When I first proposed the idea to the bosses of All About Eve Bar that I'd like to have a fund-raising performance, they were so keen that they even offered to liaise with the other bands and sell their beverages to help raise more funds.
I invited Alex, a singer who has won several local song contests, to sing on stage with me.
On top of that, I invited our famous Yongwei, to beat the cajon for the band which he immediately said 'yes'.
We practiced & gave our best shot. Even though I was down with tonsillitis, I wouldn't let my illness get in the way for Charity.
That's me singing "Tomorrow Will be Better" with another band,'Beyond Repair'.
That's 'Beyond Repair' and I on stage. Beyond Repair performs at All About Eve bar every Tuesday at 10pm.
The amount we raise for the night?
Impressive I'll say, for a little bar tucked at a corner of Arab Street where not many people knows.
Yongwei donated his last $2 into the box.
As WTH as he is, he has a heart of gold too.

Andy, a passionate photographer, who came down and helped us snap photos at the event. He was there specially to support the fund raising! Thank you!
Thank you to each and every kind soul who made this Charity Event a success- from the musicians, to the bands, to the guests who came down to support and to the bosses of All About Eve Bar, Won and Jennifer, who fully supported this proposal of mine and helped to plan everything.

OMY.SG is THREE YEARS OLD!
Today is 3rd October 2010;
perfect for this post!
The number '3' spells M-I-N-T.
Reason is because 3 is my favourite number!
There are just too much a group of trio can do!
3 Girls' PARTY in the house!
3 Besties having a meaningful catch-up session.
3 gamers at a LAN Shop playing Left-4-dead(plus the bot).
Ello, can't you see I need help here with those infested?
3 hunks and babes wearing same colour shirts!
Really honoured to be able to take a photo with 2 famous models!
3 out on a learning journey at Jurong Bird Park.
3 sisters attending a POP of their family member.
(Hey, that's my younger brother!)
3 enough to turn the house upside down!
HAVOC!!!
3 just cooking a simple dinner at home together.
PS: I managed to fried the seaweed chicken myself!
3 to stage up a performance for you to enjoy.

Sisters Forever!
She came down to support my live performance on Monday.
She helped record down my live performance.
She gave me a big hug and told me everything's is going to be alright.
She even accepted my last-minute invitation to sing a duet with me on stage!
Last but not least, she even helped to upload this precious video footage on youtube!

All About Eve Bar + Duet Singing Contest
Picture these scenarios:
Scenario 1
You have just knocked off from work. Some colleagues and you wish to avoid the heavy traffic flow in town. The cramped cabins of the train, the crawling traffic, the heavy crowd in shopping malls...
Scenario 2
You intend to meet up someone for makan-and-catching up session. You wonder what to do after dinner: Watching a movie (means very little catching up time), Window-shopping around in the mall(tiring & you can't walk for hours non-stop), KTV session in the evening (too expensive).
Scenario 3
You and your lovey-dovey partner wants to spend some private moments together; have a drink, sing some songs as well as to listen to them, just stare into each other's eyes for hours.
Scenario 4
You are by yourself and just wishes to relax after a long busy day...
Scenario 5
You want to watch Soccer with some of your brothers and realize you have nowhere to watch it conveniently.
Scenario 6
You think you're going to miss your 7pm or 9pm channel 8/u/5 drama.
Come to All About Eve Bar located at Arab Street for a change- a 3-minute walk from Bugis Junction MRT Station.
If you're walking there from Bugis Junction,
1. Cross the traffic junction to Raffles Hospital.
2. Keep walking straight and cross over to Golden Landmark Hotel
3. walk straight again and cross final the traffic junction to All About Eve Bar
(look up before you cross and you'll see the big pink flashing sign on your right)
This is Won aka Long Gor, our friendliest boss.
He loves to have a big laugh there and then and a Beatles-Fanatic.
Try talking to him, and you'll realise how easy-going and modest he is.
Oh and by the way, he's a great singer who'll awe you with his live performances!
He has just celebrated his birthday(no one can tell he's over 40 now) last Saturday.
There was free Buffet catering at the bar for every customer to help themselves to.
Nave and Norman were one of the customers there to pamper themselves with the food.
The interior of the bar is cosily furnished;
High ratten seats, parquet flooring and squarish tables just the right size for friends to mingle around without having to shout at the top of their voices.
The 3 LCD plasma TVs will guarantee a good view of the MTVs and soccer screenings shown, no matter at which table you're sitting.

Like I say, Long gor loves to sing. So he'll know what KTV-lovers expect from the sound system.
You don't sing, neither do you watch TV?
We have GAMES!!!
Dice, poker cards, photo-hunt, prize-machine, take your pick.
If that's not enough, We have wireless access too! Simply get the access password from the counter.
